I Think They’re F#@&king….
I don’t know what to love about the new story arc for Buffy Season 8. Whether its the fact that Buffy’s former boyfriend Angel is the new “mysterious” villain called “Twilight” or that Buffy has powers similar to that of Superman.
The pull back to this Darkhorse book for me was the fact that Buffy is now officially a superheroine. Not in the sense that she wasnt a superheroine before but its more like she is ACTUALLY a superheroine now. Not just stakes and martial arts and kicks and punches but flight, super strength and everything else.
And the final panel for the last issue? It was a mix of pure comic genius and hilarity. I mean cmon, what would it be like when two super powered beings got it on right in the open. It would probably more than just a sonic boom.
